How to get to Castelbuono (Google Maps)

From Palermo. Castelbuono is about 50 min far away from Palermo. Take the motorway A19 for about 40Km and keep on driving on the A20 PA-ME. Then take the exit "Castelbuono". Drive for 14Km on the main road SS286. Once you get to Castelbuono, you will easily find Piazza Castello. Large public parking place behind the Castle.

From Messina. Castelbuono is about 2 hours far away. Take the motorway A20 for aout 130Km and exit to "Castelbuono". Drive for 14Km on the main road SS286. Once you get to Castelbuono, you will easily find Piazza Castello. Large public parking place behind the Castle.

From Catania. Castelbuono is about 2 hours and 15 min far away. Take the motorway A18-E45 for 6,2Km, overtake the signal "Palermo" and keep on driving on the motorway and exit "Catania Sud". Follow the A19 for 148,3km. Then exit to "Buonfornello" and drive in direction "Cefalù". To the next motorway entrance, take the A20 PA-ME and exit to "Castelbuono". Cover the last 14Km on the main road SS286. Once you get to Castelbuono, you will easily find Piazza Castello. Large public parking place behind the Castle.

Airport: "Aeroporto Falcone Borsellino". Connected by metro and bus with the main railway station of Palermo. To get to Palermo from the airport by car, take the motorway A29 in direction Palermo for 35Km.

Railway Station: Cefalù. It is only 20Km far away from Castelbuono and is connected by several daily buses (see SAIS).
