Ypsigrock’s beautiful location, married to excellent production and hospitality resulted in the festival being one of the most memorable weekends of my life.

It will be possible to reach Castelbuono ONLY by bus (S.A.I.S.) or by autonomous private vehicles.

YPSIGROCK FESTIVAL 2021 “Tiny but Needed” – TICKETS

Following the continuation of the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been necessary to adjust the original event scheduled last year for 5-8 August 2021. Now we’re planning to host a very tiny event, even much smaller than usual and with seating called Ypsigrock Festival 2021 “Tiny but Needed”.

TICKET VALIDITY

All previously purchased tickets for Ypsigrock 2021 (via DICE and Christmas Box) remain fully valid for Ypsigrock Festival 2021 “Tiny but Needed”.
All previously purchased 3-day passes automatically become 4-day passes and they are valid for 4 days (from 5 to 8 August 2021).
PLEASE READ THE FULL TICKET AND REFUND POLICY HERE: INFO COVID-19.

4-day pass for Ypsigrock 2021 “Tiny but Needed” on sale NOW at 89€+ fees (FULL PRICE).
Given the very small capacity and the very limited availability of tickets, we advise people strongly interested in participating in Ypsigrock 2021 “Tiny but Needed” to purchase their ticket as soon as possible to secure a place.

Please consider before buying.
The Covid-19 pandemic continues to affect international travel. Any country may further restrict travel or bring in new rules at short notice, for example due to a new Covid-19 variant.

Please refer to the page Covid-19, situation in Italy, and to the FAQ published on the Italian Government website for a summary of the different restrictions applied in Italy (check for entry restrictions, testing, or quarantine requirements).

Be prepared to comply with changing restrictions to manage local COVID-19 outbreaks, such as border closures, movement restrictions, testing and quarantine requirements.

Travel restrictions may unexpectedly delay your return home. Plan for possible delays.

TICKET TYPES
Under current conditions, given the very low anti-covid capacity, day tickets are not available, only 4-day passes are on sale now.
If, based on the new government provisions that are expected, it will be possible to increase the current reduced capacity of the venues and also provide a bunch of day tickets, we will promptly notify you on our channels.

YPSIGROCK FESTIVAL 2021 – WHAT / WHEN / WHERE

Ypsigrock Festival returns in August 2021 (5-8 AUG 2021) for its 24th edition at its stunning location: the imposing Castle of Castelbuono, in Sicily, Italy. The charming venue takes you back in time, inside the medieval town Castelbuono, nestled between the Madonie Mountains and the sea on Sicily’s north coast. Tickets will be soon available via our Tickets Page.

You need a valid festival ticket (4-day pass) to attend the live shows scheduled from 5th to 8th August. This year Ypsigrock Festival features only 2 stages downtown, but they don’t play at the same time, so each band performs without clashes on 4 days.

Please consider before buying.

YPSIGROCK FESTIVAL 2021 “Tiny but Needed”

Following the persistence of the Covid-19 pandemic, a reshaping of the original event was required.
So, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we’re planning to host a tiny version of Ypsigrock 2021 (very limited capacity and seated) called Ypsigrock Festival 2021 “Tiny but Needed” from 5th to 8th August 2021.
All the changes made are the result of evaluations which provide that an interpersonal safety distance is always maintained within the event area, as currently envisaged by the provisions of the competent authorities in Italy.

Travel abroad and Coronavirus

AGE RESTRICTIONS AND TIPS

We welcome all ages to the festival. However, there are entry restrictions for under 16s. Anyone 15 and under must be accompanied by a ticket holder over 18 years old at all times. ID is required upon entry to the event. Together with the purchase of children’s reduced ticket, it will be necessary to show a valid identity document confirming the age of the child for which the ticket is purchased. In the absence of the documents certifying the child’s age, the payment of the full ticket will be required.
Children 0-5 years don’t need a ticket and they are admitted free.
Children 6-12 years will need a Child Ticket (10€ + fees).
Teenagers 13 and over must have a standard adult ticket.
All under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is over 18 years old (and standard adult ticket holder) on entering and leaving the festival, and this adult must remain on site throughout the weekend.
Make sure to be mindful of the noise level. Protect your child’s hearing, please. Use hearing protection. Bring earplugs or ear muffs with you because there is potential for loud noise. This is a cheap, easy, and effective way to preserve kids’ (and adults’) hearing. Without these protective tools the admission of children to the concert area may be refused. Keep a distance from noise sources. Don’t let kids stand near speakers or other noise emitters. Leave if noise is enough to cause discomfort. Ringing and pain are signs that ears need a break. If your child is complaining, covering his or her ears, or seems uncomfortable, consider an early exit.
WARNING: strobe lights are used during some performances.

THINGS YOU CAN AND CAN’T BRING

Ypsigrock Festival will not tolerate any anti-social, violent, abusive, disruptive, offensive, inappropriate or illegal behaviour. Such action will result in immediate eviction from the venue without a refund. Additional action may include Police involvement and / or a venue ban.

Below is the curated catalog of the things you can bring with you and the things should leave at home if you plan to attend Ypsigrock Festival.
You may be body and/or bag searched at the entrance. Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities onsite may be searched.
