Media credential applications for Ypsigrock Festival 2026 are now open.
The festival will take place August 6–9, 2026.
Thank you for your interest in covering Ypsigrock Festival.
Due to the high number of requests we receive each year and the limited capacity of our venues, Ypsigrock Festival is only able to grant a very limited number of media accreditations.
As a result, the festival reserves the right to issue Press, Video, and Photo credentials exclusively to selected media outlets, with priority given to official national and international media partners.
Important information
- Media credentials are granted at the sole discretion of the Ypsigrock Festival press office.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee accreditation.
- If you do not receive an official confirmation by email within the stated timeframe, the accreditation should be considered invalid.
- Due to space limitations, it is not possible to accommodate all requests, and selection criteria will be applied.
- Priority is given to media partners and outlets providing recent and consistent pre- and post-event coverage of the festival.
The press office reserves the right to revoke an accreditation at any time, including during the festival, should the applicant be found not to meet the required professional criteria or if the information provided during the application process proves to be inaccurate.
Who can apply
Press officers, journalists, content creators, influencers, and video/photo professionals may submit an accreditation request by completing the relevant online form no later than July 1, 2026.
If your application is of interest, you will be contacted by July 10, 2026.
- Freelance journalists must provide a valid assignment letter from a media outlet.
- Photographers and videographers must also provide a valid assignment.

Press credentials for Ypsigrock Festival 2026 are limited, and not all applications will be approved.
Press passes are issued solely to enable media coverage of the festival, which must be clearly demonstrated and guaranteed in advance.
Eligible applicants include journalists, editors, contributors to blogs, webzines, and news outlets, radio professionals, content creators, and influencers.
Submitting an application does not automatically grant a Press Pass.
The Ypsigrock Festival Press Office reserves the right to conduct further checks to assess the applicant’s actual media activity and to approve, limit, or deny accreditation at its sole discretion, based on the number of requests received and the logistical constraints of the festival venues.
All press accreditations are granted subject to festival approval and may be limited or revoked at any time.
Important information
- A Press Pass grants free access to the festival area.
- If you are not officially credentialed by Ypsigrock Festival, you will not have access to media areas.
- Freelance journalists will generally not be considered without a specific assignment. A letter of assignment from an editor may be required to confirm eligibility.
- Ypsigrock Festival cannot guarantee interviews with artists. If you wish to arrange interviews, we recommend contacting the artists’ publicists directly.
- Incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be considered.

Video and photo credentials for Ypsigrock Festival 2026 are extremely limited, and not all applications will be approved.
Video / Photo Passes are issued exclusively to enable journalistic coverage of the festival, which must be clearly demonstrated and guaranteed in advance.
Eligible applicants include professional photographers and video operators.
Submitting an application does not automatically grant a Video / Photo Pass.

All video and photo accreditations are granted subject to festival approval and may be limited or revoked at any time.
Important information
- A valid letter of assignment is mandatory for all Video / Photo Pass applications.
- Professional cameras and video equipment are only permitted for approved Video / Photo Pass holders.
- Approved Press or Media Pass holders are not allowed to bring professional cameras or video equipment into the festival grounds.
- Only one accreditation per outlet will be considered.
- Video / Photo Passes do not include access to backstage or on-stage areas.
Photography and filming of performances is strictly prohibited without prior authorization.
Any unauthorized filming or photography will result in immediate revocation of credentials.
Access to photo pits is granted at the joint discretion of Ypsigrock Festival and the performing artists and is not guaranteed.
Photo pit regulations may vary from artist to artist and may change before or during the festival. Accredited photographers are required to comply with all photo pit rules and regulations at all times.
Equipment and access
- Only photographers using professional cameras (such as SLR or interchangeable-lens cameras) will be allowed access to photo pits.
- Point-and-shoot cameras are not permitted.
- Security staff will check bags, equipment, and credentials to enforce these rules.
Only selected partners and Ypsigrock Festival’s official promo crew are authorized to capture video footage of performances.
